9.5 No arrangement shall be made or are intended to be made:
(a) for any person to receive at the expense of the Club any commission, percentage or similar payment on or with reference to the
purchase of intoxicating liquor by the Club, or
(b) for any person directly or indirectly, to derive any pecuniary benefit trom the supply of " intoxicating liquor by or on behalf of the Club to
members or guests, apart trom the benefit which a person derives indirectly by reason of the supply giving rise or contributing to a
general gain for the Club.
9.6 The Club House shall be open between such hours as the Executive Committee decides.
9.7 The bar may be opened for the sale of intoxicating liquor whilst the Club House is open between the hours for the time being determined by
the local Licensing Justices
9.7 Visitors may be introduced by any member of the Club on not more than five occasions per annum. Such members shall be responsible for
the conduct of their visitors. Visitors, other than those referred to in rule 9.9, must enter their names and addresses in the visitors book.
9.8 No person under the age of eighteen years shall be sold or supplied with intoxicating liquor, nor shall any person under that age be permitted
to consume intoxicating liquor on the Club premises.
9.9 Visitors participating in any event organised or sponsored by the Club shall be deemed-to be Honorary Members for the occasion and
afforded the facilities of the Club.
10 CHILD PROTECTION
10.1 The Club has adopted a 'Child Protection' policy in accordance with guidelines from the English Bowling Association
10.2 Details of the policy are included in the file available in the Club House entitled "Useful Information for Clubs."
10.3 It includes a broad statement of the club policy and examples of the associated forms, namely:
(a) Volunteer Disclosure & Reference Form, and
(b) Consent Form for Parents / Carers.
11 DISSOLUTION
11.1 If at any General Meeting of the Club, a resolution be passed calling for the dissolution of the Club, the Secretary shall immediately convene
a Special General Meeting of the Club to be held not less than one month thereafter to discuss and vote on the resolution.
11.2 If at that special General Meeting, the resolution is carried by at least two-thirds of the Full Members present at the meeting, the Executive
Committee shall thereupon, or at such date as shall have been specified in the resolution, proceed to realise the assets of the Club and
discharge all debts and liabilities of the Club.
11.3 After discharging all debts and liabilities of the Club, the remaining assets shall not be paid or distributed amongst the members of the Club,
but shall be given or transferred to some other voluntary organisation having objects similar to those of the Club.
