4. OFFICERS
4.1 The officers of the Club shall be as follows:
Chairperson
Secretary ] Executive Officers
Treasurer ]
4.2 A member nominated and elected as an officer of the Club will automatically be a member of
the Executive Committee.
5 ELECTION OF OFFICERS
5.1 All officers shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Club, from and by, the
Full members of the Club.
5.2 All Officers are elected for a period of one year, but may be elected to the same office or
another office the following year.
6. EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
6.1 The affairs of the Club shall be controlled by an Executive Committee comprising of the Executive Officers of the
Club plus three other members elected from, and by, the Full Members of the Club, and the post holders listed in 6.1.3
to 6.1.7. The Executive Committee shall meet at agreed intervals and not less than six times per year on notification
from the Honorary Secretary.
6.1.2 The Vice Chairman will be elected from one of the three other members referred to at paragraph 6.1 and will be
appointed by and from within the Executive Committee by means of a simple majority.
6.1.3 Two Trustees: Who will act as 'co-trustees' as full members of the Executive Committee with a specific responsibility to
ensure:
(a) the assets of the Club are managed properly, and
(b) compliance with the terms of the lease by which the Club occupies the site at Bickham, and any other lease
entered into in the future.
6.1.4 The Club Captain.
6.1.5 The Ladies Captain [Who will be elected at the Ladies Section A.G.M.]
6.1.6 The Club Fixture Secretary
6.1.7 The Men's P & D/County Trophy Captain
6.2 The duties of the Executive Committee shall be:
6.2.1 To control the affairs of the Club on behalf of the Members.
6.2.2 To keep accurate accounts of the finances of the Club through the Treasurer. These should be available for reasonable
inspection by Members and will be audited before every Annual General Meeting. The Club shall maintain a bank
current account and the following Officers shall be authorised to sign Club cheques. Any two from the Chairperson,
Treasurer and Secretary.
6.2.3 To co-opt additional club members on to the Committee as the Executive Committee feels this is necessary.
Co-opted members shall not be entitled to vote on the committee.
